"First I'll have a glass of wine, then I'll write a blog post." I was putting it off a wee bit longer. Blogging is scary! Everyone writes a blog these days, right? What can I possibly talk about that is new and interesting and thought-provoking? I'm drawing a total blank. I do really enjoy writing, and have loved fashion since I was old enough to match my birthday suit to my shoes. Wine also makes my heart happy, but that's probably a post for another time. Anyhoo, here's some background on me. I'm a wife and mom of four, and that's the achievement I'm most proud of. But way back when, before I had spit up on my shoulder, I went to college for Apparel Merchandising and studied in NYC, pursuing dreams of becoming a clothing buyer. Through a winding series of events, we ultimately ended up in the midwest to work and raise our family. But my mind was always on fashion...that craving women have to dress up and go out and feel amazing. How do I make THAT accessible for the average woman, whether she's a mom or a career woman? Or both? She might have a wallet spilling over, or she might be pinching her pennies. Either way, my goal is the same. I hope this website provides a convenient way to find cool, edgy fashion that makes women feel confident and sexy. I hate strapless bras as much as the next girl, and Spanx make my skin crawl, so those things will all be optional here. Just fun, flirty, modern, minimalist clothes that fit your budget, your body and your lifestyle. And that's not just the wine talking.
